Promotion of science Warsaw Dental Research Team
Warsaw Dental Research Group (WDRT) has been established as an independent association of enthusiasts of scientific development, to promote the influence of high-quality scientific research on proceedings and treatment protocols applied in dental practices.
In 2022, the group created a statute, democratically elected the authorities, was empowered and thus gained the status of a foundation registered in the Republic of Poland with the National Court Register (KRS).
As a priority objective, WDRT has chosen development, promotion and dissemination of the achievements of medical science, and dentistry in particular. In addition, the foundation has been oriented towards conducting clinical and laboratory research, supporting activities in the field of preventive dentistry, promotion of expert opinions and opinion-forming publications, organization of meetings, courses, conferences and symposia on dentistry, and carrying out publishing, informational and promotional activities.
A novel approach of WDRT that stands out in the forum of other scientific and clinical groups is the collective analysis of needs, and establishment of the direction of research and growth, undertaken by all members regardless of function, status, achievements, degree or title, on equal terms of partnership.
Objectives of the foundation:
Conducting clinical and laboratory research.
Seeking new concepts in solving clinical dilemmas.
Supporting research in preventive screening.
Obtaining funds to publish the results of ongoing research in respectable Polish and international medical journals.
Dissemination of expert opinions and results of scientific research.
Arranging all kinds of charitable, educational events and fundraisers intended to accomplish the goals of the Foundation
Organisation of auctions, lotteries or contests intended to provide resources needed to accomplish the goals of the Foundation.
Support and organization of meetings, symposia, lectures, conferences, courses and training sessions as well as social, medical and educational campaigns.
Supporting activities for the development of medical and dental research.
Commercialisation of knowledge and technology relating to medical science, dentistry in particular.
Integration of various environmental groups into local societies, national and worldwide.
Partnering with domestic and foreign institutions (including governments and local governments) and organizations whose purpose is similar to that of the foundation.
Participation in the development and implementation of projects funded by the European Union as well as by other organizations and associations.
Submitting applications and opinions to competent authorities, offices and courts.
Conducting publishing, informational and promotional activities.
Promoting the purpose of the foundation's activities.
Undertaking and developing other forms of activity aimed at fulfilling the foundation's purpose.
