dr n. med. Aniela Brodzikowska
She obtained the title of dentist in 1992 at the Medical University of Warsaw. In the same year, she started working as an assistant at the Faculty of Dentistry, and from 2002 as an assistant professor. She received the title of doctor of medical sciences in 2002. In 1996 completed the first degree of specialization in the field of general dentistry, and in 2004 she obtained the title of second degree specialist in periodontology.
She has participated as a lecturer in over 20 national and international conferences. The author of many scientific papers published in Poland and abroad, among which are Connective Tissue Research, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Folia Histochemica et Cytobiologica, Folia Biologica, Folia Morphologica, Journal of Dental Research, Journal of Periodontology, Contemporary Dentistry. She was awarded the Rector's Prize of the first degree for outstanding scientific achievements, and received IADR and CED scholarships in 2004-2006, during which she trained at the Complutense de Madrid University in Spain under the supervision of professor Mariano Sanz. She is an active member of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), the International Association for Dental Research (IADR) and the Polish Society of Periodontology (PTP).
She is interested in the development and histology of bones, the etiopathogenesis of dental caries, the influence of genetic factors on the development of periodontal diseases and oral microbiology.
