In 2010 he graduated from the Medical University of Warsaw, and then completed postgraduate studies in the Management of Health Care Institutions at the Warsaw School of Economics. In 2015 he obtained the title of doctor of medical sciences in the field of dentistry, and in 2016 the title of specialist in periodontics. Since 2016, he has been working at the Department of Periodontology and Oral Mucosa Diseases of the Medical University of Warsaw as an assistant professor. In 2020, he obtained the title of specialist in the field of oral surgery, and in 2021 the title of habilitated doctor in the field of medical sciences and health sciences, in the discipline of medical sciences. In 2022 he completed the Second Level University Master's Degree in Soft Tissue Management around Teeth and Implants at the University of Bologna, and so obtained the title of Master of Science (MSc).
Additionally, he raised his qualifications at numerous courses and trainings. He is a head of specialist training in the field of periodontology, scientific supervisor of doctoral dissertations, reviewer, lecturer and speaker.
Author and co-author of over 90 publications in national and international journals (Advances in Clinical and Experimental Medicine, Biomolecules, Central Europe Journal of Immunology, Clinical Oral Investigations, Gels, International Journal of Environmental Research and Public, International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, International Journal of PEnvironmental Research Public Health, Journal of Orofacial Orthopedics - Fortschritte der Kieferorthopadie, Materials). Member of the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP), the Polish Society of Periodontology (PTP), the European Association of Dental Implantology (EDI) and the Polish Association of Dental Implantology (OSIS).
His research interests and scientific achievements in the field of periodontics, dental surgery and implantology mainly regard wound healing, microbiological and biochemical diagnosis of periodontitis, regeneration of hard and soft tissues, minimally invasive surgical techniques and the evaluation of new biomaterials.
